A group of enthusiasts in Skopje, Macedonia is organizing a monthly ridealong, simply called Critical Mass. This month, the topic of the Critical Mass is "We are traffic" - people using bicycles deserve good traffic conditions, just as people using motor vehicles.
You can read the details of the invitation for Critical Mass #17 here. The text is in Macedonian, but the lowdown of the text is:
- We have the right to separate bicycle lanes on all boulevards
- We have the right to a network of bicycle parking lots
- We have the right to "30 km/h zones" in order to safely share the streets with motor vehicles when separate bicycle lanes are not possible.
- We have the right to reach any destination in the city safely.
